RE-ELECT Rudy D. Iriarte for Vice Mayor of Sinajana 2016!


Born and raised in Sinajana, Vice Mayor Rudy Don Iriarte, age 41, is no stranger to helping the community. He is the son of +Matilde Sablan Iriarte and +Danny DeLeon Jose and has three brothers +Francisco Iriarte, +Raymond Iriarte and Roland Iriarte and four sisters, Catalina Franzen married to David, Barbara Groah married to Scott, Dina McMahon married to Kevin and Elizabeth Iriarte. His maternal grandparents are the late +Ana Aquiningoc Sablan and _Ignacio Duenas Iriarte Familian Berete, Dimas.

A Product of public education-he attended C.L. Taitano Elementary School, Agueda I. Johnston Middle School, George Washington High School and Guam Community College Vocational-Tech.

His work experience includes working in the pivate sector for four years in the service industry. He has also worked for the Department of Education, Division of Special Education as a One-to-One Aide for several years.

Rudy has attended numerous trainings and has received certificates from the Department of Education, Office of Civil Defense, Homeland Security and the Mayor's Council of Guam for emergency response and management, bio-chemical hazards, shelter management, and weather spotting.

A big part of Rudy's life is his devotion to his Catholic faith. Rudy volunteers his time at the parish of St. Jude Thaddeus as a Religion Teacher for over 25 years, a Choir Member and a Eucharistic Minister.

As Vice Mayor, he created and sustained programs to include the popular Sinajana Mayor's Office Sun-Sational Summer and Christmas Day Camps, the Senior Citizens special events, our community education and training programs. Through his creativity and resourcefulness, he has raised over $70,000 for worthwhile community projects and causes.

Together with Mayor Robert Hofmann, they have made Sinajana a safer place to live, work, play and do business in. They successfully renovated and repaired the multi-purpose court into Guam's first open air gymnasium, the baseball field, the community center and a new playground set to open in September 2016. These efforts have also attracted development and private investment in the community.

He continues to work tirelessly to improve and resolve water issues, power issues, streetlights, the environment and public works issues. He is a trusted advisor to Mayor Robert Hofmann on polotics and programs regarding youth, community programs, intervention, health and manamko'

He is a dedicated government employee, a leader and a trusted friend. With proven hard work, determination, unwavering commitment, and his willingness to work with anyone and everyone, he promises to advance the interests of the Sinajana community.

Through his experiences, Sinajana Vice Mayor Rudy Don Iriarte has gained the knowledge of service and leadership, but most especially the loyalty for the people that all public servants should possess.
